Lenovo unveils new IdeaPad 5i Chromebook


Lenovo released a new Chromebook, 16-inch ThinkPad X1 Fold, two new Android tablets, and a series of new monitors at the Berlin International Consumer Electronics Show (IFA). The new IdeaPad 5i Chromebook is Lenovo's first 16-inch Chromebook with a 120Hz display, and it is accompanied by the second-generation Tab P11 Pro and Lenovo Tab P11, which are a slight improvement over the previous generation.

The Berlin International Consumer Electronics Show is one of the largest industrial fairs in Germany and one of the largest electronic product fairs in Germany. It originated in 1924. For most people, the IdeaPad 5i Chromebook will be the highlight of Lenovo's launch event, and it's an important addition to Lenovo's Chromebook lineup, because it's the first 16-inch Chromebook, and it's a decent spec, but it's not officially announced yet. The IdeaPad 5i Chromebook features an Intel Core i3-1215U or Pentium 8505 CPU, 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, and features a 2.5K 120Hz refresh rate 350 nits LCD display, which isn't common on Chromebooks. So it looks very special. This Chromebook also features an FHD camera, dual MaxxAudio speakers, weighs 4.1 pounds (1861.4 g), is 0.8 inches (20.32 mm) thick, offers up to 12 hours of battery life, and offers 2 USB-A Type -C ports, 2 USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a headphone jack and a MicroSD card slot, support Wi-Fi 6E.
