Meta Quest Pro high-end VR headset exposed

Previously reported that the  Meta Quest Pro high-end VR headset will be released soon, and now a game anchor has posted the real machine of this device on Facebook. The box of the device bears the name of the Meta Quest Pro and reads " Not for Resale - Engineering Sample ", and the VR headset has three cameras on the front.

In addition, the handle of the device is very small, and the hollow design of the ring in the middle is canceled, and the sensor is expected to be rearranged.

The whistleblower claims that the device was left at the hotel and has since been claimed, and it appears that the insider may be punished.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman previously said a person familiar with the matter said the new headset would cost more than $1,000. The new machine will have a better GPU and lower power consumption, and it will also include an external high-resolution camera for simulating augmented reality color, eye tracking, more storage, new controllers, and a virtual reality high-resolution display.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Meta's high-end headset Quest 2 Pro will support VR and AR, with a mini-LED display and a 2P Pancake short-focus lens, with about 16 cameras (10 for the headset and 6 for the headset). Two handles), equipped with Qualcomm's XR2 processor, supporting eye tracking, facial expression recognition, and 3D sensing, will be mass-produced in the third quarter of this year, and shipments in the second half of the year will reach about 2 million units.

Meta has been hinting at the launch of a new headset since last year, codenamed "Project Cambria". Mark Gurman said the device is a top priority for Meta, which has recently scaled back development of other hardware projects, such as smartwatches, to target Apple's MR headsets, which will be launched next year.

Meta will hold its annual VR conference Connect on October 11, and we can expect to see the release of the Meta Quest Pro high-end VR headset.
