Microsoft is about to release Surface Laptop 5, which is expected to be equipped with 12th generation Core / Ryzen 6000

Recently, it was reported that Microsoft Surface Pro 9 will provide both Intel and ARM versions, and the Surface Pro X series will be merged. Now, the whistleblower rquandt claims that Microsoft will also release the Surface Laptop 5 at the same time, which is the same as the previous generation, still equipped with 13- and 15-inch screens.

Microsoft launched the Surface Laptop 4, which looks the same as the previous generation and is equipped with 11th-generation Core and Ryzen 4000 Surface Edition series processors. In terms of screen, the Surface Laptop 4 has a 13.5-inch screen resolution of 2256 x 1504 and a 15-inch resolution of 2496 x 1664.

Surface Laptop 5 is expected to be powered by 12th Gen Core and Ryzen 6000 Surface Edition. Intel's 12th-generation Core introduces a large and small core design, bringing stronger multi-threaded performance, while the Ryzen 6000 version is equipped with a core display with double the performance, with stronger graphics and gaming performance.

Microsoft's annual  Ignite conference will be held offline from October 12th to 14th.
