Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics card has two models of 12GB / 16GB

Videocardz quoted the whistleblower "MEGAsizeGPU" as saying that Nvidia's upcoming RTX 4080 graphics card may have two versions of 12 GB and 16 GB of video memory. The reference design of the RTX 4080's 12GB GDDR6X memory will use a 10-layer PCB, while the 16GB memory model will use a 12-layer PCB, and the two models will use completely different PCB solutions.

Based on the previous information, the RTX 4080 is expected to be equipped with an AD103 GPU, with 9728 CUDA cores and a TBP power consumption of 340W. Nvidia may launch a 12GB memory model first and a 16GB memory model later.

Nvidia will be the first to release the RTX 4090 model in October, with 16384 CUDA cores, 24GB GDDR6X memory, and 450W TBP power consumption.
