NVIDIA RTX 4090|4080 detailed parameters announced

The detailed parameter information of three RTX 40 series graphics cards is now available on Nvidia’s official website.

As shown in the figure above, the first three graphics cards of RTX 40 are 16384 CUDA, 9728 CUDA and 7680 CUDA. Under the blessing of TSMC's 4N process, the acceleration frequency exceeds 2.5GHz, which is a significant improvement over the previous generation of Samsung's 8nm process.

In terms of video memory, the RTX 4090 is 24GB 284bit GDDR6X, the RTX 4080 16G is 16GB 256bit GDDR6X, and the RTX 4080 12G is 12GB 192bit GDDR6X.

The Nvidia RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 16G reference graphics cards are 304mm long and 3 slots thick. The power consumption of the three graphics cards is 450W, 320W, and 285W respectively, and the system power requirements are 850W, 750W, and 700W respectively.

Nvidia stated in the comments that the RTX 4090 series graphics cards still use the DP 1.4a interface instead of DP 2.0. The NVIDIA RTX 4090 will be available on October 12, and the RTX 4080 will be available in November.
