Nvidia's new flagship GPU AD102 has more than 75 billion transistors

Nvidia’s new flagship GPU AD102 has more than 75 billion transistors. According to reports, the NVIDIA AD102 GPU uses TSMC's N4 process, which is 5 billion fewer transistors than the NVIDIA Hopper H100 data center GPU of the same process.

In terms of specifications, the NVIDIA AD102 GPU will have 18,432 CUDA cores and support 384-bit wide GDDR6X memory. The RTX 4090 is expected to feature an AD102 GPU, but only 16384 CUDA cores are enabled. In the future, Nvidia may launch an RTX 4090 Ti or a TITAN model that enables more CUDA cores.

Nvidia has now announced that it will hold a special live broadcast of GeForce Beyond on September 20, which is expected to introduce information about the new generation of GPUs.
