Samsung Galaxy S23 series hardware has not improved much

Earlier today, Samsung Galaxy S23 / S23+ mobile phones passed the 3C certification. The certification information shows that the two phones are still equipped with 25W chargers like the previous models. Recently, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has also obtained 3C certification and is also equipped with a 25W charger. However, it is speculated that the international version of the machine will still support a charging rate of up to 45W.

Twitter user @Ice universe tweeted yesterday that the current information shows that the Samsung Galaxy S23 / S23+ phone only has an upgraded processor compared to the previous generation, the Galaxy S22 / S22+ phone. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has only upgraded the processor, screen, and main camera compared to the previous generation. The blogger said that in the face of such a small hardware upgrade of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, users should ask Samsung to lower the price of the Galaxy S23 series phones.

Sammobile said that although the hardware improvement of Samsung Galaxy S23 series mobile phones is not large, it means that Samsung may start to focus on improving software and user experience. Last June, Samsung established the E&I (Experience and Insight) lab, which is dedicated to improving the user experience. Lab staff believes that by 2030, everyone will have 15 connected devices, and every home will be equipped with about 40 connected devices, which will create increasingly complex experiences.

The Galaxy S22 / S22 + National Bank version was released on February 22 this year, starting at 4,999 yuan. Both models are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor and use ultrasonic fingerprint recognition. Among them, the Galaxy S22 standard version uses a 6.1-inch screen, a built-in 3700mAh battery, and weighs 167 grams. The Galaxy S22+ features a 6.6-inch screen, a built-in 4500mAh battery, and weighs 195 grams.
