Sharp has announced that it will hold the AQUOS series autumn and winter new product launch conference at 10:00 on September 26, 2022 (Monday), which is expected to bring new AQUOS smartphones.
Sharp's main models include the flagship "AQUOS R", the standard model "AQUOS sense" series, and the entry-level model "AQUOS wish" series, of which the AQUOS sense series is often launched in the second half of each year.
Now, a protective case business has leaked a rendering of the Sharp AQUOS sense7. The design of the lens part is the same as that of the AQUOS R7. It also uses a 1-inch sensor, but it has two holes and looks like a dual-lens camera.
Although the AQUOS R7 is also equipped with two cameras, it actually includes a depth sensor that is not used for taking pictures, and the camera configuration of the AQUOS sense7 is currently unknown.
The Sharp AQUOS R7 released in May went on sale at Japanese operator Softbank in July this year, and the Japanese version sold for 189,360 yen (about 9,259.7 yuan).
The Sharp AQUOS R7 uses a 6.6-inch (WUXGA+) Pro IGZO OLED display, supports a variable refresh rate of 1~240Hz, a peak brightness of 2000 nits, 1 billion colors, is compatible with Dolby Vision, and the display and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass is used on the back. In terms of configuration, the machine is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 12GB of memory, 256GB of storage space, retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, supports 1TB microSD card expansion, and FeliCa function.
In terms of cameras, the Sharp AQUOS R7 said at the time of its release that it was equipped with "the newly developed 1-inch 47MP sensor". According to the Japanese media smhn.info that got the phone, this camera is equipped with the same Sony IMX989 CMOS as the Xiaomi Mi 12S Ultra.
