Sony's first APS-C movie machine FX30 specifications flow out

Earlier today, sonyalpharumors said that Sony will release the APS-C movie machine FX30 in September. Now, sonyalpharumors has released more news about this movie machine. It is reported that the Sony FX30 will use a 12-megapixel APS-C frame CMOS, and the overall body design is similar to the full-frame FX3 pictured above.

In terms of price, the Sony FX30 is expected to cost $2,500 (about 17,250 yuan), which is almost the same as the current full-frame camera A7M4. Last year, Sony released a full-frame movie camera FX3, with a single suggested retail price of 32,000 yuan. Sony FX3 uses about 10.2 million effective pixels full-frame back-illuminated ExmorR CMOS image sensor and BIONZ XR image processor , supports 4.2K 16Bit Raw external recording, and supports all internal optional recording formats in 10Bit 4:2:2 mode.

The Sony FX3 S-Cinetone picture profile uses the same color science as CineAltaV, FX9 and FX6, and supports 4K 120p recording. Sony FX3 has built-in 5-axis anti-shake and "enhanced mode" image stabilization function. At the same time, the gyroscope records jitter metadata, which can be used for anti-shake processing with Sony's native software. Handheld shooting can also obtain stable image effects. The official also said that the Sony FX3 uses an efficient cooling system and built-in cooling fan, which can record 4K 60p video stably for a long time.
