The global e-paper market is expected to reach US$4.7 billion in 2022

According to a TrendForce report, the global e-paper market is expected to reach US$4.65 billion in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 48.1%, and is expected to reach US$20.34 billion by 2026.

Yuantai is currently the world's leading supplier of electronic paper modules, electronic ink films, and other related materials, as well as electronic labels and other finished products. In addition to the continuous improvement of its operational performance with new production lines, Yuantai's biggest benefit comes from alliances and cooperation with many manufacturers.

According to reports, electronic paper products such as electronic paper tablets and electronic labels are mainly composed of three parts: display module, wireless transmission chip, and battery. Among them, the internal structure of the electronic paper display module is that the electronic ink is coated on a layer of plastic film, and then attached to the TFT panel, which needs to be controlled by the driver IC to form a pixel pattern. The electronic paper TFT panel should be equipped with about 11 driver ICs.

TrendForce said that from the perspective of the future trend of the e-paper market and the application of existing digital technologies, various e-paper products can be integrated into smart logistics, smart warehousing, smart retail, and other fields to replace traditional paper. Through the deployment of the cloud platform and the Internet of Things, shelf labels can be changed at any time, and inventory information can be obtained in real-time, thereby reducing labor costs and traditional paper consumption. Especially under the trend of digitalization and sustainable development, the willingness of retail, logistics and warehousing, and other related companies to adopt electronic paper tablets, electronic labels, and other products will greatly increase. The development of paper products from black and white to colorful has become the main growth driver of the electronic paper market scale.
