Tianma Optoelectronics' 8.6th-generation new display panel production line has a total investment of 33 billion yuan, which is Tianma's first high-generation production line specializing in the field of small and medium-sized displays.
Tianma said that it has been deeply engaged in the field of small and medium-sized displays for nearly 40 years, forming a full coverage of mainstream display technologies in the small and medium-sized fields, and actively deploying emerging fields. After the completion of Tianma Optoelectronics' 8.6th generation new display panel production line project, it will further enhance Tianma's core competitiveness, further, improve Tianma's new display industry layout in Xiamen, and promote the optimization, upgrading, and high-quality development of Xiamen's new display industry.
Tianma's official website shows that since the fourth quarter of 2017, the company's LTPS smartphone panel shipments have remained the world's first for four consecutive years, basically achieving full coverage of LTPS mobile phones for mainstream brand customers in the industry; the market share of in-vehicle display shipments has been increasing year by year. In 2020, it will become the world's No. 1, and it will continue to maintain the double champion of the overall vehicle market and the instrument market in 2021; the company maintains the global market share in high-end medical, smart home, VoIP and other market segments.
