TSMC released its August 2022 revenue report. Data shows that TSMC's consolidated revenue in August 2022 was about NT$218.13 billion (about 49.297 billion yuan), a month-on-month increase of 16.8% and a year-on-year increase of 58.7%, setting a new record high.
TSMC's cumulative revenue in the first eight months of this year was about NT$1.43 trillion (about 323.18 billion yuan), a year-on-year increase of 43.5%, In contrast, TSMC's consolidated revenue in July was about NT$186.763 billion (about 42.022 billion yuan), a month-on-month increase of 6.2% and a year-on-year increase of 49.9%, setting a new record high.
On August 30, TSMC President Wei Zhejia mentioned at the 2022 TSMC Technology Forum that TSMC's 3-nanometer will maintain the FF architecture and will be mass-produced, and 2-nanometer will guarantee mass production in 2025 and will be the most advanced technology.
