Zotac released the GeForce RTX 40 series non-public graphics cards. This time, the flagship AMP EXTREME AIRO and the sub-flagship Apocalypse series will debut. There are three models under each series: Zotac GeForce RTX 4090, 4080 16GB, and 4080 12GB.
Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 AMP EXTREME AIRO
Zotac's new flagship AMP EXTREME AIRO features an innovative aerodynamic design with excellent cooling ducts.
Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 AMP EXTREME AIRO graphics card has 16384 CUDA stream processors, 24GB capacity GDDR6X specification video memory, core and video memory frequency increased to 2235-2580/21000MHz, 384bit video memory bit width, bringing faster video memory transfer rate.
Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 AMP EXTREME AIRO uses IceStorm 3.0 cooling system. There are three super large fans with a diameter of 11cm on the front, which greatly increases the air pressure and air volume; the cooling fins are lengthened and heightened, and the VC soaking plate, 9 composite ice-pulse heat pipes and ventilation paths in all directions greatly improve the cooling efficiency.
Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 AMP EXTREME AIRO groundbreaking design with counter-rotating middle fan to reduce air turbulence and reduce noise through smoother airflow. Meanwhile, all fans use Seiko double ball fan bearings, which can reduce rotational friction and further extend fan life. The fan supports intelligent start-stop technology, and users can adjust the fan through a physical switch or Zotac FireStorm software, or switch between two fan BIOS modes.
The size of Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 AMP EXTREME AIRO graphics card is 35.5×16.6×7.2CM, the back is a solid die-cast metal backplate, and there is a large-area hollow design at the end to assist the graphics card to dissipate heat. In addition, a metal rear mounting bracket is added to the backplane GPU to provide additional reinforcement and protection.
Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 AMP EXTREME AIRO has a minimalist and streamlined design as a whole, with two ARGB ambient light strips embedded on the front smooth stripes. The top design is inspired by the Norse mythology connecting Asgard and Midgard. The rainbow, iridescent and translucent coatings enhance the beauty of ARGB. Users can customize graphics card lighting effects through FireStorm software.
Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 Apocalypse OC
Apocalypse is still upgraded based on the appearance of silver and black armor. The front is "Ring of Apocalypse", the top is equipped with a faith logo light, and the back panel is equipped with two ARGB small fans. The ring of enlightenment, the small fan on the back panel, and the top belief lamp all support 16 million colors of ARGB and dozens of lighting effect cycle modes, which can be adjusted through FireStorm software.

Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 Apocalypse OC cooling is fully upgraded on the basis of the previous generation. It adopts five fans and 9 heat pipes to dissipate heat. Three 11CM super-diameter fans on the front are also used for reverse rotation of the central fan and double ball bearings, which support intelligent start-stop technology; the back is upgraded to Apocalypse Wings 2.0, and the interfaces of the two small fans are optimized as Contact contact, the air duct sucks, and blows, forming a combined force with the front fan to achieve penetrating airflow; the volume of the heat dissipation fins is greatly increased, and the VC soaking plate, 9 composite copper heat pipes and penetrating air flow significantly improve the heat dissipation efficiency.
The size of the graphics card is 36.7×15×7.4CM, and the back plate is made of sturdy alloy metal. There is also a large-area hollow design at the end to assist the graphics card to dissipate heat.
Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 AMP EXTREME AIRO and Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 Apocalypse OC graphics cards both use a 24+4-phase power supply design, a new 12+4Pin power supply interface, DP*3+HDMI interface, and the rated power consumption of the whole version is 450W (can be increased by 10%), it is recommended to use a power supply of more than 1000w. Taking into account the user's installed compatibility, both graphics cards come with a 4*8pin to 12pin power cable and a graphics card bracket. Different series of graphics card brackets have different appearances.
The Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 series is expected to be available in October, while the Zotac GeForce RTX 4080 series will be available later.
