On September 21st, Zotac released the GeForce RTX 40 series non-public graphics cards. This time, the flagship AMP EXTREME AIRO and the sub-flagship Apocalypse series are debuting. There are three models under each series: Zotac GeForce RTX 4090, 4080 16GB, and 4080 12GB. In addition to the graphics card, Zotac also recently released a mini-host.
According to liliputing today, Zotac recently launched the ZBOX edge CI342 mini host. Zotac’s official website shows that the ZBOX edge CI342 mini host is equipped with an Intel Pentium N6415 (Elkhart Lake) quad-core processor clocked at 3.0 GHz, which has a thermal design power (TDP) of 6.5W and supports up to 32GB of memory. At the same time, the ZBOX edge CI342 mini host supports up to 2 4K displays.
The size of the ZBOX edge CI342 mini host is 147.2×147.2×32.1 mm, and it adopts a fanless cooling design. In terms of interfaces, the ZBOX edge CI342 mini host provides DP 1.2 and HDMI 2.0b display output, has two USB-A and one USB-C interface, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Meanwhile, the ZBOX edge CI342 mini host supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 connections.
The ZBOX edge CI342 mini host will be sold in a "bare system" form, which means that consumers can choose RAM and SSD storage by themselves. However, in addition to two SO-DIMM DDR4 dual-channel memory slots, ZBOX edge CI432 only provides one PCIe 3.0 x2 M.2 2280 SSD slot.
