Acer launched its first gaming Chromebook, the model is Acer Chromebook 516 GE. This new Chromebook is equipped with a 12th-generation Intel Core i7 "P-series" processor, equipped with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD.
Screen-wise, the Acer Chromebook 516 GE features a 16-inch 2560x1600 120Hz IPS display with narrow bezels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 100% sRGB color gamut. In other respects, this notebook is equipped with an RGB keyboard, a 2.5G network port, and supports Wi-Fi 6E. The interfaces include dual USB Type C, USB Type A, and HDMI.
The Acer Chromebook 516 GE laptop will be available in the United States in October, starting at $649.99 (about 4,641 yuan).
