Acer's Chromebook is No. 1 in Canada in the first eight months of this year

The latest market survey data shows that PC brand manufacturer Acer Chromebook has become a constant winner in the consumer market in Canada. As of August this year, it has been in the local market for 14 consecutive months. First; at the same time, in the first 8 months and August of this year, the market share was 39% in the local market; in addition, Acer's Chromebox and Chromebase also maintained a 53% market share in the local commercial market in August lead.

Acer's Chromebook product line is diverse, from 11 inches to 17 inches, covering various models such as clamshell and reversible, to provide consumers with the Chromebook experience required. This year, the first Acer Chromebook Vero 514 is added to continue the concept of environmental protection, providing consumers with more choices for reducing ecological footprint as its Vero environmental protection series.

Despite entering the post-epidemic era, the overall market demand for Chromebooks has declined relatively this year, but Acer has made gains in various markets due to its early deployment in the Chromebook field. The data released recently shows that Acer’s Chromebook product line is in the pan-European market in the education field. In the second quarter of this year, it ranked first in the market share of 28%, 44%, and 31% respectively, becoming the triple crown champion of Chromebook market sales in the pan-European region.

Acer offers products of various sizes in the Chromebook market. The trend of telecommuting and teaching continues to drive up computer shipments, and the demand for multiple computers in one household also boosts sales in the consumer sector.

In terms of product lines, Acer continued to expand its Chromebook product line this year. In mid-May, it launched a variety of commercial, consumer, and home Chromebook models, focusing on performance, and meeting the MIL-STD-810H military standard. Many features meet Chrome OS user needs, suitable for remote office, entertainment, etc.
