Analyst: Apple's iPhone 14 Pro/Max shipment delay time is lower than iPhone 13 Pro

Analysts said that at this stage after the launch of new iPhone products, the delivery cycle of Apple's iPhone 14 Pro models has been lower than that of the iPhone 13 Pro products in the same period last year, and users are more interested in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Demand is still "not big".

In the sixth week of JPMorgan's Apple Product Availability Tracker, delivery times for iPhone 14 Pro models eased from the fifth week's figures. According to the tracker, delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro Max have flattened out to be on par with the iPhone 14 Pro.

The easing timeline is estimated to be similar to the iPhone 13 Pro models, despite lower supply constraints. Home delivery times for iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are 2 days, 2 days, 29 days, and 30 days, down from 2 days, 4 days, 32 days, and 34 days a week ago, respectively.

The base iPhone 14 has shorter lead times than the iPhone 13, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have slightly shorter lead times. JPMorgan didn't provide an iPhone 14 Plus comparison, likely due to a much later release date.

In the US, demand for the iPhone 14 Pro Max was more consistent with the Pro, both at 32 days, compared to 39 days before the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Delivery times for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are steady at three days, but that's well short of the roughly 11 days for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini over the same relative period.

In China, delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro series models are now below the global average, at 22 days for the iPhone 14 Pro and 29 days for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The delivery time for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus is 1 day, which is also very low compared to the 12 days for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini in China.

For the UK and German regions of Europe, delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro are relatively consistent, and delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro Max are moderate. The delivery time for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus is the next day, which is much lower than the corresponding time for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, which is about 11 days.

In terms of wearable device tracking, the delivery time of new Apple Watch models has gradually eased. Global average lead times for Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra were 9 days and 24 days, respectively, down from 11 days and 25 days a week ago, while Apple Watch SE changed from 10 days to 9 days.

The lead time for the AirPods Pro 2 wireless earphones is around 2 days, a slight improvement from 3 days a week ago.

In a recent note to investors, JPMorgan Chase predicted that Apple's fiscal fourth-quarter financials will break records, with revenue of $90 billion and earnings per share of $1.31.

"The iPhone 14 / Pro series is hot, JP Morgan predicts that Apple's Q4 revenue in fiscal 2022 will reach $90 billion "
