Display analyst Ross Young said that Apple is expected to launch 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros with OLED displays in 2024.
Sorry that I was right about the displays not changing on the new iPad Pros…flex…:) 2024 we will see OLEDs on both…

Young said in a tweet that the iPad Pro will be equipped with an OLED display in the first half of 2024, which was not used in the new M2 iPad Pro model released yesterday. Apple used a miniLED display on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro in April 2021, but not on the newly released 11-inch model. Currently, only the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro use mini LED screens.
Compared to miniLED technology, Apple's planned OLED display will reportedly include a two-layer tandem structure with two red, green, and blue emitting layers to increase the screen's brightness. In addition, the OLED display is more power efficient, which helps extend battery life.
Apple could use a "hybrid" OLED technology in the iPad in 2024, which could reduce production costs while making the device thinner.
