In the carbon fiber industry, the number of carbon fibers per bundle greater than 48,000 (referred to as 48K) is usually called large tow carbon fiber. This 48K large tow carbon fiber domestic production line can achieve large-scale and high-quality production. The project adopts the PAN (polyacrylonitrile)-based large tow precursor and carbon fiber technology independently developed by Sinopec and will be implemented in two stages. For a long time, China's carbon fiber development has mainly achieved breakthroughs in small tow carbon fibers, but the high cost of small tow carbon fibers has affected the enthusiasm of downstream enterprises to apply carbon fibers. The localization of carbon fiber has made the application of carbon fiber in downstream markets such as new energy gradually explode. With the continuous increase in the application rate of carbon fiber, related industries will usher in a long-span high boom stage, which has effectively promoted the rapid development of related industries in my country and related industrial structures.
