• In the third quarter, the net profit attributable to the parent company was 6.252 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12%; in the first three quarters, the net profit attributable to the parent company was 24.543 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%.

Mobile communication services: In the first three quarters of 2022, China Telecom's mobile communication service revenue was RMB 148.367 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%, with a net increase of 17.46 million mobile users, reaching approximately 390 million, and a net increase of 5G package users by 63.24 million. , reaching approximately 251 million households, the penetration rate reached 64.4%, and the mobile user ARPU1 was RMB 45.5.

Fixed line and smart home services: In the first three quarters of 2022, China Telecom's fixed line and smart home service revenue reached RMB 89.433 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, and the number of wired broadband users reached 179 million. Smart home revenue maintained rapid growth, driving Broadband comprehensive ARPU2 to reach RMB 46.6.

China Mobile and China Unicom also announced user data today. China Mobile's 5G package users have reached 557 million, and China Unicom's 5G package users have exceeded 200 million.
