Guoxuan Hi-Tech that on October 8th, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Yichun Guoxuan Battery Phase II 20GWh project was held in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province . This is another move by Guoxuan Hi-Tech to increase the layout of Yichun after the first phase of the 10GWh project was put into operation in May this year.
Guoxuan Hi-Tech stated that the Yichun Guoxuan battery project is the top priority of Guoxuan Hi-Tech’s layout in Yichun, and it is one of the top ten battery production bases in China.
According to reports, the Yichun Guoxuan battery project is planned to be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the 10GWh project was officially put into operation in May this year. The second phase of the project, which started on the 8th, is planned to be 20GWh. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in October 2023 . Supply lithium battery products for domestic and foreign first-class vehicle enterprises and leading enterprises in the energy storage field.
Guoxuan High-tech pointed out that Jiangxi Guoxuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., which belongs to the Yichun Guoxuan Battery Project, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guoxuan High-tech, mainly engaged in mining resource development, lithium carbonate extraction, lithium-ion battery manufacturing and PACK, energy storage system development, etc.
In addition, Guoxuan Hi-Tech said that its layout in Jiangxi includes lithium ore resource mining, lepidolite extraction, lithium carbonate processing and power battery production. So far, the project is progressing smoothly.
