Leica launched the SL2-S camera reporter version

Leica has now launched the SL2-S camera reporter version, priced at $5,495 (about 39,729 yuan). This camera uses aramid fiber. This is a very strong synthetic fiber commonly used in personal protective equipment. The tightly woven aramid fibers are nearly impossible to dismantle. The aramid fibers of the Reporter Edition are not only woven in an elegant style but also provide strong protection for the Leica SL2-S Reporter Edition even under harsh shooting conditions. Operationally, it still performs exceptionally well. Aramid fiber significantly improves the camera's grip, making photography and videography safer.

In 2020, the Leica SL2-S camera will be launched, priced at 35,800 yuan.

The Leica SL2-S camera is equipped with a newly developed  24-megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor and is equipped with the latest Maestro III processor. The photosensitive element also supports multi-axis image stabilization and 96-megapixel high-pixel multi-shot functions.
