LineageOS 19 adds support for Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro / MIX 2S, Motorola Edge 30 / Edge 20 Pro...etc.

Last month, LineageOS 19 support extended to four Xiaomi devices, Motorola Edge 20, Google ADT-3, and Dynalink 4K Box. The LineageOS team has now added five more devices. LineageOS 19 has been adapted to Motorola Edge 30, Edge 20 Pro, Mi 8 Pro (Mi 8 under-screen fingerprint version), Mi 8 Transparent Explorer Edition, and Mi MIX 2S. These devices can install a custom ROM based on Android 12.

Users must unlock the bootloader of the relevant device and set up a custom recovery to install LineageOS 19. Before upgrading, back up your data in case you lose critical content. ROM does not have Google apps pre-installed, and after installing LineageOS 19, users can download the appropriate Google program GApps package.

In addition to LineageOS 19 adding support for 5 new devices, the team also removed the Poco M2 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max from the unified "miatoll" build. The team also added the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 LTE and Xperia Tablet Z2 Wi-Fi to the LineageOS 18.1 support list.
