Microsoft unveils two Teams-certified accessories

Microsoft launched two new Teams-certified accessories at the Ignite 2022 technology conference to improve the mixed meeting experience, the two accessories are Microsoft Audio Dock (Microsoft Audio Dock) and Microsoft Presenter Plus Remote Control (Microsoft Presenter Plus remote control).

The Microsoft Audio Dock is an all-in-one speaker system with a pass-through PC charger that can connect and charge a PC via USB-C (3.2 Gen 2) at up to 60W. With four different ports (HDMI, USB-A, and two USB-C), users can connect two monitors with HDMI and USB-C connections. The base provides dual front-facing microphones with noise reduction, and there are control buttons on the top of the device to display your microphone status. The Microsoft Audio Dock is certified by Microsoft Teams and has a dedicated Teams button to quickly join a meeting and raise your hand to speak.

The speakers on the audio dock carry Microsoft's Omnisonic branding, the same branding as those in Microsoft's Surface devices. The base has a 15-watt woofer and a 5-watt tweeter.

The Microsoft Presenter Plus is a handheld remote that allows users to easily join Teams meetings and can also be used with other meeting applications such as PowerPoint, Prezi or Keynote. Users can present slides with the remote control, mute or unmute themselves at the touch of a button, and use the built-in on-screen pointer to direct attendees' attention to specific areas of the presentation.

Other features of the Microsoft Presenter Plus remote include the same mute indicator as on the audio base, and the ability to raise your hand to speak by pressing and holding the dedicated Teams button in a Teams meeting. The remote is connected via Bluetooth for a wireless connection distance of up to 32 feet (about 10 meters).

The Microsoft Audio Dock will be available on October 25 for $250 (about 1793 yuan), and the Presenter Plus remote will be priced at $79.99 (about 574 yuan).
