Minisforum released the UM580 mini-host overseas, equipped with R7 5800H and supporting USB-C first-line connection. Now, this mini host has been listed on Jingdong, with a barebones configuration of 2799 yuan.
The AMD R7 5800H is an 8-core and 16-thread specification, with a base frequency of 3.2GHz, a boost frequency of up to 4.4GHz, and a 16MB L3 cache.
This mini host is 12.8cm long, 12.66cm wide, and 4.65cm high. It supports up to 64GB of DDR4 dual-channel memory and can be installed with an M.2 2280 PCIe slot and a 2.5-inch hard drive.
In terms of interfaces, this mini-host can output video through 2xHDMI and 2xUSB-C, and the USB-C interface at the back also supports a PD power supply, and connecting to an adapted display can realize a one-line connection. Other interfaces include a 2.5G network port, four USB-A interfaces, etc.
It should be noted that this mini-host supports USB-C one-line connection to the monitor in principle, but the official said that considering that most USB-C monitors cannot reach 100W reverse power supply, it may shut down under high load, it is recommended to use USB -C Power adapter for power supply.
