Motorola Moto G72 4G mobile phone released


Motorola Moto G72 mobile phone has been launched in India as the successor to the Moto G71. Unlike the former, the Moto G72 only provides 4G network service and no 5G connection. The Moto G72 phone features a centered punch-hole screen, three cameras on the back, and in-screen fingerprint recognition.

Key specs of the Moto G72 include a 6.6-inch display, MediaTek Helio G99 chip, 128GB of storage, an Android 12 operating system, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The Moto G72 is equipped with a 6.6-inch FHD+pOLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 576Hz, 1 billion colors, and in-screen fingerprint recognition. The phone has a built-in MediaTek Helio G99 chip and ARM Mali G57 MC2. Comes with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB uMCP storage. Run Android 12 operating system, support 1 major version system upgrade, and 3 years security patch update.

The Moto G72 phone measures 160.5 x 74.4 x 7.9 mm and weighs 166 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and 1 USB Type-C port. Support IP52 waterproof design. The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Equipped with dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, dual microphones, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In terms of cameras, the Moto G72 has three rear cameras, including a 108-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and Samsung HM6 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (with a depth of field support), and a 2-megapixel macro camera. A front-facing 16-megapixel lens for selfies and video chats.

The Moto G72 is priced at 18,999 Indian rupees (about 1,664 yuan) in India. There is only a 6GB+128GB model, with two color options, meteorite and polar blue. It will go on sale on October 12.
