MSI Releases New AMD B650 Series Motherboards

MSI has now announced the launch of the new AMD B650 series motherboards. The B650 series covers many models. Compared with the previous generation B550 series, the performance and appearance of this generation of products have been greatly upgraded and optimized. MSI B650 series motherboards will be available in October.

The MSI B650 motherboard uses an extended heatsink design with a 7W/mK thermal pad. At the same time, the M.2 Frost Armor makes the M.2 SSD run more stably and prevents throttling during high-speed reading and writing; the double-sided M.2 thermal pad can improve the heat dissipation efficiency on both sides of the M.2, especially High-capacity or high-speed storage.

The MSI B650 motherboard uses up to 16+2+1 channels of intelligent power supply and dual 8PIN CPU power supply interfaces, and also supports AMD EXPOTM technology and A-XMP (Intel-like XMP) profile, making it easier to choose compatible memory module. Through the dedicated SMT welding process and dedicated memory acceleration engine, the MSI B650 motherboard can support 6600MHz, and it will reach higher after overclocking.

The MSI B650 motherboard is equipped with a 2.5G wired network card, Wi-Fi 6E wireless network card, and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20Gbps) Type-C connector, and also supports ARGB Gen2 devices.

MPG series

MSI B650 series motherboards cover three sub-series of MPG, MAG, and PRO. Among them, the MPG series has received numerous upgrades on the new AM5 platform, with carbon black and silver and white colors.

MPG B650 CARBON WIFI Diablo and MPG B650 EDGE WIFI Blade have PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots; MPG series supports up to 4 M.2 slots and 6 SATA ports. MPG B650I EDGE WIFI Blade is an itx specification small motherboard with silver white appearance, which can match the white compact host computer.

MAG series

MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI Tomahawk missile and MAG B650M MORTAR WIFI mortar are equipped with 80A intelligent power supply, dual 8PIN CPU power supply interface, dual M.2 frost armor, and Audio Boost 5 technology.

PRO series

PRO B650-P WIFI and PRO B650M-A WIFI are equipped with all the mainstream features of MSI motherboards such as Steel Armor, Extended Heatsink, M.2 Frost Armor and Flash BIOS Button, supporting 2x PCIe 4.0 and 2x M.2 slot.
