Netgear today launched the Nighthawk M6 mobile hotspot WiFi 6 router (MR6150), which supports 5G speed and is priced at $800 (about 5,664 yuan). Netgear will launch the world's first 5G hotspot router, the Nighthawk M5, in 2021. Now, the new M6 has even faster speeds, 20% faster than the M5, and can reach a maximum combined WiFi speed of up to 3.6 Gbps when connected to a 160 MHz WiFi 6 device.
The Nighthawk M6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SDX62 mobile platform, supports dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz AX3600 WiFi 6, and has a built-in 5040mAh battery that can last up to 13 hours on a single charge.
Officials say the Nighthawk M6 provides a secure, private WiFi connection for airports, hotels, trains, and other places on the go.
