Nintendo and TAG Heuer launched the Mario Kart joint chronograph


Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Tag Heuer cooperated with Nintendo to launch the "Mario Kart" joint watch. Called the TAG Heuer Formula 1 x Mario Kart Limited Edition, the watch collection comes in two designs:

  • Chronograph: $4300
  • Tourbillon Chronograph: $25,600

According to TAG Heuer, the $25,600 tourbillon chronograph features a 45mm case made of grade 5 titanium, a unique black polished ceramic bezel marked with a 400KM/H tachymeter scale, a skeletonized TRI- COMPAX dial with a custom tourbillon.

The back of the case is also made of custom sapphire glass, and the wearer can see the "ultra-precision COSC-certified Tag Heuer 02T movement" inside the watch. Black calfskin strap with red lining and titanium folding clasp with M logo.

Another $4,300 chronograph features a 44mm polished stainless steel case, a black ceramic tachymeter bezel displaying the Mario Kart logo, and a fixed-hour second hand at 9 o’clock, in the iconic Inside the red circle, the Mario image on the custom asphalt textured counter is displayed.

The watch's screw-down case back is made of stainless steel and is engraved with the Mario Kart logo and Mario silhouette.

This is the second time that TAG Heuer has cooperated with Nintendo. Last year, the two companies teamed up to launch a $2,150 (about 15,416 yuan) "Super Mario" limited-edition smartwatch with Wear OS, which quickly sold out.
