NVIDIA's latest 522.25 driver improves performance of older graphics cards

NVIDIA released the Game Ready 522.25 WHQL driver, which supports RTX 4090 graphics cards. In addition, the driver brings DirectX 12 enhancements for all RTX graphics cards. According to Computerbase, under the latest 522.25 driver, the performance of the RTX 3090 Ti is improved by 4-5%.


As shown above, the 522.25 driver brings an average 4% raster performance boost to the RTX 3090 Ti in 4K games, and an average 5% performance boost in 2K games. The NVIDIA engineering team has designed new DirectX 12 enhancements to accelerate performance for massive games. These optimizations are more effective in CPU-constrained situations, allowing the graphics card to be utilized to a greater extent.
