In August this year, Samsung officially released the 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 SSD. Now, has released a review of this product, and it is expected that the 990 PRO will be available soon. Samsung's newly designed controller greatly improves the energy efficiency of SSDs by up to 50% compared to the 980 PRO. Additionally, the 990 PRO features a nickel coating on the controller and tabbed heatsinks on the hard drives to ensure reliable thermal management. The 990 PRO (heatsink version) also provides an extra layer of thermal control, while it's RGB lighting adds a stylish touch.
