Samsung offers its customers in Brazil the broadest portfolio of 5G smartphones, which should help the company maintain its leadership in the country's handset segment in the emerging 5G era.
In September 2021, Brazil passed the final version of the decree on 5G; in November 2021, the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency held an auction for 5G frequency band operation licenses, and three Brazilian telecom operators successfully won the bid. Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency said that by 2030, Brazil's 5G network coverage will reach 81%.
