Officials say the PRO-G40 SSD is a simple, flexible solution for business professionals and creative professionals alike, offering outstanding productivity and compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 interfaces.
This mobile SSD achieves dual-mode compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gbps) and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) through a single port, making cross-device collaboration easier and maximizing efficiency.
In terms of speed, officials say the new product has a read speed of up to 2700 MB/s and a write speed of 1900 MB/s through the Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gbps) interface and can move 50 GB in 30 seconds or less. The aluminum core draws heat away from the inside to help maintain ultra-fast transfer speeds.
The PRO-G40 SSD features a professional-grade enclosure that provides extra strength with IP68 dust/water resistance, crush resistance up to 4000 lbs, and drop resistance up to 3 meters. The PRO-G40 SSD is now available in the United States, with a suggested retail price of $299.99 (about 2,127 yuan) for 1TB and $ 449.99 (about 3,190 yuan) for 2TB, with a five-year limited warranty.
