Sony's new ZV series camera broke the news

Sony will release a new product around October 12, which will be a new ZV series fixed lens camera, cheaper than the ZV-1. Now, sonyalpharumors released the latest news, saying that this camera is equipped with 20 million pixel CMOS, equipped with a 20mm fixed lens.

This camera is basically a ZV-1 with a 20mm fixed lens. It's unclear if the 20MP sensor is the same as on the ZV-1. In May 2020, Sony released the ZV-1 camera, which uses a one-inch stacked CMOS, has a 20.1 million effective pixel lens, uses a fixed lens, and has an equivalent focal length of 24-70mm, which can shoot 4K video.

The ZV-1 is equipped with the Real-Time Eye AF focusing system unique to Sony's mirrorless cameras before, which can lock the subject and track the human eye in real time for focusing during 4K video shooting, and the ZV-1 is equipped with a one-button fast background blur conversion function, 3-inch foldable flip LCD screen, windscreen, and built-in microphone. The ZV-1 does not have a Type-C interface, uses the same NP-BX1 battery as the RX100, and weighs about 294 grams.

The ZV-1 will be launched at the end of May 2020 with an initial price of 5,199 yuan.
