Sony China official WeChat news, Sony China today released two high-end soundbars - 5.1.2 channel HT-A5000 and 3.1 channel HT-A3000*1, Presenting the shocking dome-style sound field constructed by Sony's 360 spatial sound field mapping technology (360 SSM).

In addition to 360 SSM technology, the two new products also use Sony's front virtual surround technology and vertical surround engine to build a wide-area immersive sound field in both horizontal and vertical directions. With a Sony TV, turn on the center sound field synchronization mode to achieve a further high-quality audio and video experience of audio and video integration. In addition, two new cognitive functions (Intelligent Low-Frequency Compensation and Intelligent Speech Enhancement) and Sound Field intelligent sound field cognitive function make it easier for users to enjoy good sound.

Both new products support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio formats, the HT-A5000 also supports 4K 120FPS high refresh, 8K HDR, and Dolby Vision, and the original image quality will be preserved when playing through the HT-A5000 down. The HT-A5000 supports high-resolution audio formats Hi-Res and Hi-Res Wireless; the blessing of Sony's high-quality sound technology DSEE Extreme (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) further improves the sound quality performance and brings an immersive music experience.

According to Sony, the 360 ​​SSM technology first measures the relative height and position of the echo wall and the rear surround speakers through the built-in microphone automatically optimizes the sound according to the room layout; and then synthesizes sound waves based on the position information to create multiple real-sounding phantom speakers that emit sound. Spherical sound waves create a wider sound field than physical speakers, creating an all-around surround and immersive listening effect. When using the product, users no longer have to be troubled by the precise placement of traditional home shadows and cumbersome wiring. By placing them easily and flexibly, they can create an ideal dome-style sound field for their home environment.

With the 5.1.2 physical channel HT-A5000, nine speakers work together to provide clear, wide sound with reduced distortion. The soundbar is equipped with built-in dual subwoofers for deep bass; two upward-firing speakers create a sky channel through reflections from the ceiling, and two beam tweeters create a horizontal surround sound field through the left and right wall reflections. The HT-A3000 features 3.1 channels, three front speakers (including a dedicated center speaker for clear dialogue), and two built-in dual subwoofers for deep bass.

The upward-firing speakers, built-in dual subwoofers, and front-facing speakers in both products all use Sony's unique X-Balanced balanced speaker unit. The unique rectangular shape maximizes the area of ​​the speaker's diaphragm and increases sound pressure for stronger bass and clearer sound. In addition, both products feature DSEE Extreme™ technology, which uses Edge-AI to upscale compressed digital files in real-time, restoring high-range sounds lost during compression, and restoring lossy files to the level of lossless files.

Users can choose wireless rear speakers to enjoy the dome-style sound field built by 360 SSM. There are two models to choose from: the true wireless rear surround speaker SA-RS5 with a total power of about 90W and a built-in battery, or the wireless with a total power of about 60W. Surround back speaker SA-RS3S.

Adding a subwoofer to your home audio system allows the system to reproduce deeper bass, clearer sound and extra fidelity with more punch and power. Two wireless models are available for users to choose from: 180W power, 180mm Drivers, SA-SW5 with deep rich bass, and SA-SW3 with 150W power, 160mm driver, compact bass reflex subwoofer.

The Sony HT-A5000 will go on sale as soon as it goes on sale, starting at 5,990 yuan, and another HT-A3000 is expected to go on sale in December, starting at 4,490 yuan.
