TCL CSOT cooperates with Mercedes-Benz to launch the world's first in-vehicle display

In January this year, the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept car was announced. This concept car is equipped with the brand's first fully seamless 47.5-inch ultra-thin one-piece screen and introduces a game engine and comprehensive Optimize the user interface. The R&D team also cooperated across borders and jointly developed the first 3D real-time navigation system compatible with screens of this size. In the 3D city view, the satellite image can be enlarged to a height of 10 meters.

Today, TCL Huaxing revealed that the in-vehicle display is a product of its cooperation with Mercedes-Benz, and it is also the world's first in-vehicle display that traverses the entire A-pillar surface.

This super-sized display was developed by the Mercedes-Benz R&D team, the R&D center of Continental Motors, and TCL Huaxing. This screen is equipped with the highest 8K resolution in the automotive industry, and the backlight uses the popular Mini LED technology.

As early as the 2020 Global Ecological Conference (DTC 2020), TCL CSOT released the world's first 47.8-inch 8K In-cell Touch AM Mini LED-backlit curved car screen, which is expected to be developed based on this screen.

Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX reduces the wind resistance coefficient to 0.17 and has a cruising range of more than 1,000 kilometers on a single charge. At the same time, the whole vehicle uses a large number of lightweight technologies and sustainable materials and adopts human brain bionic technology. A number of functions used in the concept car have been applied to the production car, and more technologies will also be installed in subsequent mass-produced Mercedes-Benz models.
