Vivo Y52 (2022) mobile phone released


Vivo has added another smartphone to its Y series, the Vivo Y52 (2022). As the name suggests, it's an updated version of last year's Vivo Y52, and similar to last year's model, the phone also features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, an octa-core processor paired with an integrated Mali G52 GPU.

The Vivo Y52 (2022) features a larger display, a 48-megapixel camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. Other highlights of the Vivo Y52 (2022) include an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 18W fast charging. The Vivo Y52 (2022) comes in a single configuration, 4GB+128GB, and is priced at NT$7,990 (about RMB 1,798).

The new Vivo Y52 (2022) features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD waterdrop notch display with Full HD+ resolution. The phone uses the Android 12-based FunTouch OS 12 system. The new Vivo Y52 (2022) features triple rear cameras, including a 48-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth-of-field camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front-facing 8-megapixel camera makes video calls and selfies.

The Vivo Y52 (2022) uses a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging via the Type-C port. On the security front, the smartphone offers side-mounted fingerprint recognition and also has a hybrid micro-SD card slot.

The all-new Y52 (2022) is available in two color options Night Black and Glacier Blue. It weighs 193 grams and measures 163.95 × 75.30 × 8.50 mm. Connectivity options for the device include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and BeiDou.
