Acer subscribes for 8.97% stake in memory manufacturer

Acer's board of directors has now decided to participate in the subscription of Apacer Technology Co., Ltd.'s cash capital increase private ordinary shares, with a total of 11,000,000 shares at a price of NT$33 per share and a total amount of NT$363 million. After the application is completed, it is expected to hold 8.97% of the equity of Apacer .

Apacer has been a supplier to companies such as Acer, Acon and Antus Technology, and companies under the Acer Group such as Zhanqi also distribute their products as agents. Acer's participation in the subscription of Apacer's private common stock will not only expand the strategic cooperation between them, but also obtain stable income. In addition to deepening the existing cooperation in the future, as the Acer Group continues to develop multiple business engines, it is expected that synergies will be exerted in more fields in the future.

Apacer was established in 1997 and has complete R&D, design, manufacturing, and marketing capabilities. Its product line spans solutions such as memory modules, industrial SSDs, consumer digital storage products, and IoT integrated applications.
