The PC brand Acer announced its third-quarter financial report this week. Dragged down by the headwinds of the PC industry, Acer's net profit after tax in the third quarter of 2022 decreased by 37.8% year-on-year.
Specifically, Acer's consolidated revenue in the third quarter of 2022 was NT$ 64.887 billion; gross profit was NT$6.561 billion, with a gross profit margin of 10.1%; operating net profit was NT$829 million; Net profit after tax was NT$1.876 billion, a month-on-month increase of 8.8% and a year-on-year decrease of 37.8%.
Acer's consolidated revenue in the first three quarters was NT$215.587 billion, and the net profit after tax was NT$5.835 billion.
Acer said that it is committed to optimizing its financial position by strengthening supply chain management and sales. The value of inventory was NT$58.131 billion, a decrease of NT$5.311 billion compared with the second quarter. Since the first quarter, the cash inflow from operations has decreased to NT$11.776 billion.
