AMD introduces HYPR-RX graphics card one-click performance improvement technology

At the AMD RX 7900 graphics card conference, AMD mentioned the HYPR-RX graphics card one-click performance improvement technology. According to the latest details released by AMD, HYPR-RX will be a one-click performance-boosting technology that combines Radeon Super Resolution, Radeon Boost, and Radeon Anti-Lag. With this technology, players will be able to choose the most suitable profile for the game.

AMD provided some preliminary data showing HYPR-RX in action. In Dying Light 2, the technology increased frame rates from 90 FPS to 166 FPS, an 85% improvement, and reduced latency from 30ms to 11ms. AMD confirmed that HYPR-RX will be launched in the first half of 2023, but did not specify the exact time.

AMD also plans to release a new version of FSR in 2023, using AMD Fluid Motion Frames technology, which can provide more than 2 times higher frame numbers than FSR 2 in certain games.

AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series graphics cards are expected to be generally available on AMD.com starting December 13, 2022, and will be available from mid-December from leading partners, including ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Texon, Sapphire, Hankai, XFX and Yeston.
