China Telecom: 5G package users reached 256.92 million

China Telecom disclosed the main operating data for October 2022. The data shows that as of October 2022, China Telecom's mobile subscribers will reach 390.48 million, with a net increase of 590,000 in October and a cumulative net increase of 18.05 million this year. Among them, the number of China Telecom's 5G package customers reached 256.92 million, with a net increase of 5.88 million in October and a cumulative net increase of 69.12 million this year.

As of October 2022, the number of China Telecom's wired broadband users reached 179.71 million, a net increase of 1.03 million in October, and a cumulative net increase of 10 million this year; the number of fixed telephone users reached 105.47 million. There was a net decrease of 30,000 households, and an accumulated net decrease of 1.17 million households this year.

Contrast: In the first three quarters of 2022, China Telecom's mobile subscribers will increase by 17.46 million, reaching about 390 million; 5G package users will increase by 63.24 million, reaching about 251 million, with a penetration rate of 64.4%, and mobile user ARPU of RMB 45.5.
