Pixel Watch has a large number of pre-installed functions, but the recent version update caused the pre-installed sunset and sunrise functions to fail. This simple function was originally updated twice a day to show when the sun rose and set. However, Pixel Watch users only see a dash in the middle with the location pin crossed out above it.
This suggests that the problem is with location permissions, but going into settings (> Apps & Notifications > App Permissions > Location) there is no option to do so. Assistant, Google Play services, and Weather are always allowed, while WearOS is only used.
Users have not encountered this problem with Pixel Watch before, so it may be caused by recent updates, and Google may fix this problem through Play Store updates in the future.
