iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max shipments will be lower than previously expected

Apple's official website recently issued a document to update the supply of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Demand for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models remains strong, Apple said. However, shipments of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are now expected to be lower than previously expected, and customers will be waiting longer to receive the new products.

The main assembly plant for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max in Zhengzhou, China is temporarily affected by COVID-19 restrictions. The factory is currently operating with significantly reduced capacity. As we have been insisting since the COVID-19 pandemic, The health and safety of workers in the supply chain is always a priority.

We note that demand for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models remains strong. However, we now expect iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max shipments to be lower than previously expected, and customers to wait longer to receive new products.

We are working closely with our suppliers to restore normal production levels while ensuring the health and safety of all workers.

A recent report said that due to restrictions, iPhone production at Foxconn factories may be reduced by 30% from normal levels.

Apple said the reduced capacity in the supply chain will lead to longer wait times for customers to place orders for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Currently, the devices are estimated to ship within 3-4 weeks from the US Apple Online Store. Chinese stores also ship within 4-5 weeks.
