MediaTek Dimensity 9200 released today is the first to support LPDDR5X-8533 memory

After Samsung and Micron officially announced their latest 8.5Gbps LPDDR5X DRAM, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 released today is the first to support LPDDR5X-8533 memory, and announced that the first terminal equipped with the Dimensity 9200 will be available on November 11. Released at the end of the month. This may mean that LPDDR5X-8533 memory is ready, and a new generation of thin and light notebooks is expected to be used, unlocking more core display performance.

According to MediaTek's data, MediaTek Dimensity 9200 also supports LPDDR5X 8533Mbps memory, and the bandwidth is 13% higher than that of Dimensity 9000.

According to Micron's previously published data, the LPDDR5X-8500 memory in the 1β process can provide about  15% energy efficiency improvement and more than 35% density improvement.

AMD's Ryzen 6000 mobile processor currently supports LPDDR5-6400 memory, and Intel's 12th-generation Core mobile processor supports LPDDR5-5200 memory. It is expected that LPDDR5X-8500 high-frequency memory will be useful for the core display performance of a new generation of thin and light notebooks. There will be a significant improvement.
