NIO announced that the first battery swap station jointly built with CNOOC was officially put into operation. According to NIO, two battery swapping stations have been launched today, which are located in the direction of Huadu and the direction of Panyu in the Licheng East service area of ​​the G94 Pearl River Delta Ring Expressway.

The total number of NIO battery swapping stations exceeded 1,200 on November 6. NIO said it will continue to deploy and complete the cumulative deployment of more than 1,300 swapping stations by the end of the year.

As of November 6, Weilai users have exchanged batteries for nearly 14 million times, with an average daily battery exchange of over 30,000 times, and an average of one car departs from the battery exchange station every 2.8 seconds.

Delivery data shows that Weilai will deliver 10,059 new cars in October 2022, a year-on-year increase of 174.3% from January to October 2022, it will deliver 92,493 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 32%.
