Panasonic will release full-frame mirrorless camera Lumix S5 Mark II in February

Panasonic will release a full-frame mirrorless camera Lumix S5 Mark II during the CP+ exhibition in February 2023. The specific specifications are unknown. The Mark II model will replace the current Lumix S5 Micro one.

The first-generation Panasonic Lumix S5 camera was released in September 2020, and the model has not been updated for more than two years.

The Panasonic Lumix S5 is equipped with Venus Engine, a 24.2-megapixel CMOS full-frame sensor with dual native ISO technology, which can provide a maximum ISO 51200 (extended ISO 204800), but a shutter speed of 1/8000th of a second. In addition to RAW, it also supports a 96-megapixel high-resolution mode in JPEG format.
