Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Exynos 990 version) pushes the official version of Android 13 / One UI 5.0 overseas

Two weeks ago, Samsung released a stable version of the Android 13 update for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 +, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. Today, Samsung has released the Android 13 system update for the Galaxy S20 FE along with the latest security patches.

The Android 13 (One UI 5.0) stable update firmware version for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is G780FXXUAEVK3. The new update (about 2GB in file size) is currently rolling out in the Russian region and may reach other markets in the coming days. The new software also brings the November 2022 security patch to the smartphone. Here's the updated Exynos 990 version of the Galaxy S20 FE, while the Snapdragon version of the device hasn't started getting the Android 13 update yet.

Galaxy S20 FE users in Russia can now download and install the Android 13 update on their phones by navigating to Settings - Software Update and tapping "Download and Install".

This may be the last major Android system update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE in mid-2020 with the Android 10-based One UI 2.5 system. The phone received the One UI 3 update based on Android 11 in early 2021, the One UI 4 update based on Android 12 in late 2021, and the One UI 5 update based on Android 13 in late 2022.
