Samsung Galaxy S23 series European version running points confirmed to replace Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Qualcomm had previously hinted that Samsung's next-generation flagship phone, the Galaxy S23 series, will all use Snapdragon processors, and according to the latest running score information, it seems to confirm this statement.

Today, the European version of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (SM-S918B) appeared in the Geekbench 5 running score. The CPU information shows Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, it is a high-frequency version of 3.36GHz. The single-core running score is 1504, and the multi-core score is 1504. The running score is 4580.

In the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, the North American, South American, National Bank, African and Indian versions are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors, while the European version and some specific Asian market versions are equipped with Exynos 2200 processors.

With the European version of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra switching to the Snapdragon chip, it seems that the last "territory" of Exynos is gone. However, this seems to be a good thing for European users. After all, the Exynos 2200 processor of the Samsung Galaxy S22 has received many poor reviews in terms of performance and user experience.
