Samsung South Korea's Galaxy Z Flip 4 / Fold 4 began to push the official version of Android 13 / One UI 5.0

Samsung released a stable version of the Android 13 update to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4, but only for some devices participating in the One UI 5.0 Beta program. Now, Samsung has started rolling out the stable Android 13 update to all users in certain markets.

In South Korea, the stable version of Android 13 (One UI 5.0) for Galaxy Z Flip 4 is updated to firmware version F721NKSU1BVK5, and the updated firmware version of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is F936NKSU1BVK5. These new updates also bring the November 2022 security patch to these devices to fix and close numerous security vulnerabilities.

Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 users in South Korea can download the Android 13 update on their devices by navigating to Settings - Software Update and tapping "Download and Install".

Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 users in other countries are expected to get the Android 13 update in the next few days.

Samsung’s Android 13/One UI 5.0 update brings a slightly revised UI design with an expanded color palette feature, larger icons in the notification area, and slight changes to the quick settings switch section. The update also brings stacked widgets, individual language settings for each app, Samsung DeX UI improvements, and a reorganized privacy and security dashboard.

Other improvements include better animations and transitions, easier multitasking gestures, OCR recognition in the Gallery app, and improved editing features in the built-in image and video editor sections. Bixby and Bixby Routines have also been improved, bringing new options and features. Bixby Routines has been renamed Modes & Routines. Performance and accessibility features have also been enhanced.
