Samsung US Galaxy A02s starts to push Android 12 / One UI 4.1 system

Samsung Galaxy A02s received a new firmware update in the United States, including the Android 12 system. In other markets, the firmware started rolling out in July, and the US is only now catching up with the rest of the world. Samsung is currently focusing more on Android 13 updates for some Galaxy phones and tablets.

The Android 12 system update for the Samsung Galaxy A02s includes One UI 4.1 version. The software package is firmware version A025VSQU2CVJ1 with the September 2022 security patch. Android 12 is the last major OS update for the Galaxy A02s, and the device won't get Android 13 and One UI 5.0.

Samsung Galaxy A02s was released last year, equipped with Snapdragon 450 chip, pre-installed Android 10 / One UI 2.0 Core system, using a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600x720) LCD screen, front 5MP camera, rear 13MP main camera+ 2MP depth of field + 2MP macro camera, battery capacity 5000mAh, supports 15W charging, supports Type C interface.
